My first active bass, as well my first venture into the 5 string world.
I recieved this bass after a factory tour of G&L in early Sept. 2001.
This bass has been refinished (by me) from black to "Walnut", body wood is maple I believe. Retro fitted with Basslines passive PU's, new knobs, Badass bridge, and a new nut. I recieved this bass for a song but had to deal with major disrepair. I do have all the original parts but it wasn't playable when I got it. Strung with flats, I'll put this up against any all original P Bass from the same era, it sounds great and has wicked low action.
This bass has been refinished (by me_ from Arctic White to "Mahogony" Body wood is basswood I believe.
